The West Fine Art Show at the Cloverdale Rodeo
The West Fine Art Show presents “Remembering Jeff Robinson”, a celebration of the short life of Jeff, son of Red and Carole Robinson. Jeff died of Crohn’s Disease.
This is the seventh year of operation for the show which will present 20 of the finest artists in Western Canada. Beautifully staged, the West Fine Art Show offers a soothing artistic ambiance accentuated by guitar music performed by John Gilliat and Rossi.
In addition to a memorial display remembering Jeff, an Emerging Young Artist display will feature work from local students at Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary and a Children’s Art Workshop will keep the young busy. A $2.00 raffle ticket will buy the chance to win a framed original painting or a framed print.
For the fourth consecutive year, the show will donate a portion of all art sale funds to CH.I.L.D. Foundation which was established in 1995 to fund research for children who are stricken with Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, and liver disorders. Art sale funds will also be donated to the Cloverdale Rodeo Youth Initiative Foundation which provides scholarships to past and present student volunteers from the Cloverdale Rodeo and Exhibit Association.
