Entertainment for the Whole Family.

Each day at the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair the budweiser stage located will feature some of the best acts around singing, dancing, and having a good old time. Featured acts include:

  • The Molnar's, honored by the B.C.C.M.A with the title 'Group of the Year Award', are a family group defined by their powerful vocals and energetic instruments. Their songs reveal their personalities and passion in a way that exemplifies family harmony. Like with many families, sharing is a key lesson to learn and it is not uncommon for the band to switch instruments mid act!
  • The Fraser River Fiddlers are a must see band! Made up at 12 kids age 6 – 16, with an average age of 11 years old, they are a fantastic band to experience. Their pick fiddling, solos and duets are a must see!
  • Nearly Neil & The Solitary Band, Come experience first hand Canada's own Bobby Bruce's tribute to Niel Diamond! This performance is an outstanding tribute to one of the most outstanding musicians of all time!
  • Wild West West Can Can Dancers are self proclaimed 'the sauciest Saloon Girls this side of the Rockies!' and based out of Port Moody, B.C., The Wild West Can Can Dancers are a group of 'colorful ladies' whom dance, entertain, provide community service and raise money for local charities. With a Western theme consistent, this group portrays a high energy act with a 'naughty but nice' attitude. This fun volunteer group offers a dynamic and energetic atmosphere to learn dance, develop new friendships, and give back to the community all while celebrating arts and culture!

Home Arts at the Country Fair

One of the great traditional exhibits going back to the original Country Fair 119 years ago is the Home Arts and Country Life displays. Located in Shannon Hall, visitors to the 2008 Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair will be able to see old style Country Fair competitions including cooking, baking and canning competitions, knitting, quilting and hand-made arts and crafts exhibitions. The home arts area takes visitors back to a time when baking, canning and quilting were time honoured traditions and family farms were the glue that bonded a community.

Prizes will be awarded in dozens of categories ranging from the best-canned homemade jam to the best fruit loaf and apple pie.

4H and Animal Displays

One of the most popular parts of the 119-year-old Country Fair is the educational displays featuring 4H projects and animals. Located in the Ice Rink complex, this popular area includes cow milking demonstrations and informational exhibits.
